WHY NZ MP's ENJOY THE PERCS BUT GET CAUGHT

FOR OVER SPENDING ON THEIR CARDS

The world recession is still with us as the Euro keeps tumbling taking with it the sterling and recession could loom IN 2019- 20. In NZ all essential dairy costs to petrol and ACC keep climbing although Chinas economy is slowing. Everyone wants more money, the real estate market has GONE crazy as interest rates remain low. However inflation causing prices to escalate

The Labour Government seems to be intent on spending mega on the roads and seeking ways to mine the National parks and extract more money to fill the coffers but over the last few months more and more Politicians are getting themselves in the limelight for being so dumb. When an MP cannot differentiate between a personal credit card and a ministerial credit card then uses excuses of being overworked and lack foresight in what theyre doing then they should be booted out & their services terminated fullstop. These people are in a poistion reprenting others and must be responsible for their actions but they believe they can and do anything they like and being the boss of their departments they think they will never be caught.

LABOUR MPS WHO CAN'T HELP THEMSELVES

Labour MP Shane Jones admitted to watching porn in a hotel he was visiting for ministerial duties. The Labour MP has paid back about $5,000 worth of personal spending charged to his ministerial credit card including x-rated movies and shopping trips for sports gear and CDs. But Jones, a father of seven, charged up to 50 porn movies - - to his credit card while staying in hotels on ministerial business, and although he repaid it back thats not the point--- the idiot did it in a position of responsibility and is now the---- MP of Porn which will stick with him for life!!.

Demoted Labour MP Chris Carter decided to stay on in Parliament after earlier refusing to front up when it was revealed he charged pay per view movies and flowers for his partner to his ministerial credit card. Carter lost his foreign affairs portfolio by the Labour Party & then got the pip. This MP is also conceding he should not have claimed gay bashing was behind the interest in his spending--an escape goat. His hotel bill records him spending $157 on massages at the Raffles Hotel in Cambodia and $66 for a spa treatment at the Hyatt. He said he paid for that himself?? but he reimbursed taxpayers for one of his staff's pampering treatment and loved his expenditure and tours with his partner. The guy is a liar and should be kicked out-- well he then went on to send anonymous emails to say his boss Phil Goff is not the right leader for Labour. Well in a way he's right but then he lied again when asked if he wrote them so this guy is just another idiot whose future in Labour is null and void. The sad thing about it Labour does not have the charisma of having a leader powerful ebough to get them elected but at the same time jobs are getting scarce & mopre Kiwis are heading to Australia.

Judith Tizard, splashed out $155 on a bottle of wine Bollinger at Auckland's Cin Cin restaurant to go with her meal of salmon, tuna and fresh figs. Auckland Issues Minister Judith Tizard was under fire for her domestic travel expenditure. Her bill for six years back in 2006 comes in at just under $338,000, second only to Prime Minister Helen Clark.

Mita Ririnui couldn't help himself so splashed out on a $900 bike and golfing equipment worth $682 using the card and then lost his forestry position. Ririnui received 88 requests between 2004 and 2008, and four letters requesting more details of spending but it seems he enjoyed his credit card spending. Mr Ririnui's macadamia nuts from the minibar and a trip to the local BP station to buy chewing gum, a Powerade and coffee - all on ministerial business and not repaid. Indeed a great life for an MP.

Parekura Horomia, the former Maori Affairs minister paid out $750 on an official function at a Chinese restaurant & then again later had to repay another $463 spent on a meal there. Mr Horomia, MP for Ikaroa-Rawhiti, was the most lax of all MPs. Between 2003 and 2008, officials had to send him 94 requests for receipts or reminders of the spending rules. He too enjoyed his new MP lifestyle

NATIONAL PARTY BINGES

Trade Minister Tim Groser become a Minister in November 2008, & spent over $1,400 on alcohol. This includes $466 in one week on the minibar and hotel bar while he was at the Copenhagen climate change conference. He seems to love the lifestyle and spent $90 per x4 bottles of wine for a few diners as well but then if its trade talks maybe thats acceptable to clinch the deals and if it was in Japan entertaining then the price would be a lot more I guess.

Then we have Bill English who made claim on his own house of $950 per week? He paid back $14000 and can claim half only per year but thats still around $24k. Not bad for the Minister of Finance

National's Phil Heatley lost his housing and fisheries portfolios in February 2010 for over use of his ministerial credit card, but was reinstated by Prime Minister John Key as Minister of Housing after an Audit Office report said his spending was not deliberate???? well what is deliberate.

Progressive MP Jim Anderton $700 in personal expenses put on ministerial credit cards during a trip to Rome and Malaysia in 2008.

Rodney Hyde, ACT MP HYPOCRITE

Rodney Hyde, ACT MP, included a wedding during his trip and a holiday in Hawaii with his new partner Louise Crome and paid using his entitlement 90% of the fares for both. He has since apologised and paid back her travel expenses. The outcry was that this hyprocrate had previously pointed out other MP’s over spending and was widely known as the “Perk buster” of parliament yet he did what others were supposed to have done so again can this person be trustedI think . He was the one who dunked Tuku Morgan for a $69 pair of silk boxer shorts with taxpayer funds?? & Winston for accepting donations plus Jonathan Hunt and the taxi chit scandal etc. "His own self serving agenda is all he is interested in, if there had not been such an uproar over this he would have continued with the double standards without batting an eyelid."

COUNCILS HELP THEMSELVES:

But its not only the Politicians sucking the tills even the Council CEOS and heads are having a ball on the tax payers and logging up bills that should never be allowed.
