Alan (Crash) Jenson is virtually right across the road from TOTAL & runs the engineering business of Bryant & Simpson. Crash has been around for many years and is the initiator of building Super Modified race cars and Super saloon cars for many of his clients including himself. The old engineering Company was in Coventry St about a stones s throw away. From top to bottom these boys know their V8s and race cars inside out and Crash can even build you one from scratch or just upkeep your race car. Crash spent time in the USA & was also a top contender in the Super Modified Race car series in NZ & presently upkeeps the race machines of Shannon Contractor and long time racer Ian Easton. Crash can handle any engineering work big or small from hydraulics to turning steel items and maintenance work etc in his workshop also on Hokio Beach Road anytime. An excellent guy he assists lots of truckies, farmers & Contractors in the Horowhenua area & even outside the area so if in need don't be afraid to drop him a line if you need assistance.

Crash's ex partner was none other than Owen (Charlie) Simpson who gave a lot to engineering back in those days when we could have a beer & drive---yes we remember the good ole days!!!. It's great to see the name still the same and running just as strong. Owen's father worked in the same Coventry St business for many years as well & they had a great setup to manufacturing security trucks etc to large scale engineering jobs. Charlie helped many guys in need including the ed of this website & will always be remembered. If one was in need he would help and asked very little in return ---but one remembers these small things well. Following a tragic accident Charlie succumbed to his injuries over the years and past away on the 21st July 1989 at a young age 38 years but his legacy still lives on. Some days he had so many race cars in his workshop you thought you were in the pits but he was an inspiration to many a truckie, contractor, Super saloon and super modified racer & indeed a great guy. Its great to see the name is still there & Charlie's partner Crash still dedicated to the job.
